Lincoln Spelling for Leukemia

Ryan made this video of Lincoln last weekend after coming home from a ten day stay in the hospital (I still need to find the energy to blog about that.  In case I don’t thanks for all your thoughts and prayers during that time).  We felt like maybe we could use Lincoln’s cute face and talent of spelling to make a sort of commercial to put out there on the internet to raise awareness of and funds for childhood cancer.  I think it turned out really cute.  We’re so grateful for people who have donated to cancer research in the past because that’s why Lincoln has such a good prognosis.  We want to do our part to help further the effort.  Feel free to share this video.  Enjoy!

So this video totally brought tears to my eyes. I watched it with Bradford and Warren, which of course made me tear up even more.

Lincoln is such an amazing guy. I'm so excited to see what great things happen for him in the future.

XOXO,
Heather

It's perfect. I love that you guys are doing this. Way to make lemonade! You rock, and just might change, the world. Proud to be your sister and his aunt.

PS. This is very Kelle-esque.

I watched this with my 5 year old that is also fighting a.l.l. she said, "wow I can't even spell all those words and I have cancer too." My favorite story is when her teacher was going thru words to say, she started laughing when she saw the word all. She told the teacher that most people saw all, but she says the right way, acute lymphoblastic leukemia. Sad that kids know so much about cancer at such a young age. My daughter likes to look at other cancer kids blogs and calls them all her cancer friends. Although we have never met, lincoln is always in my thought and prayers.
