Redecorating–Desk Transformation

My mom and I have been having so much fun redecorating my house.  I’m loving the results and a full tour of the new house is forthcoming.  But this little gem of a project deserves it’s own post first.  It’s easily my most proud accomplishment  in the fixing up category.  We found this desk on craigslist for TEN dollars and we transformed it into what I think looks like an expensive desk I’d find at a boutique.  We sanded it, primed it, painted it elephant grey, distressed it, and replaced the knobs.  It turned out really gorgeous.  Thanks mom for the help, tips and inspiration on this one!

Nice work Cheryl. It looks so good! Did you find a chair for it yet? Is that going to be Ryan's or are you going to use it?

That looks great! The color and knobs are lovely. I'm about to start work today on a coffee table I got at Goodwill for $20.25!
