Lincoln Walks and Grammy Rocks!

We think with all the changes going on in our house and the new addition taking attention away from Lincoln, he decided he needed to do something to get it back. This week, he made major progress walking!! Everyday he gets more and more confident and it’s so fun to watch and be a part of. It kind of terrifies me but it’s exciting too.

My mom arrived on Monday and has been SO MUCH HELP! Oh how I love her. She cooks, cleans, plays with Lincoln, lets me sleep,….she is awesome. Oh and did I mention she’s taken on the project of decorating a nursery for Sawyer? We can’t wait for our JC penny shipment to arrive. Currently she’s in painting a dresser red for Sawyer as I type. She’s pretty much amazing. I want to be her when I grow up :)

IMG_6223This freaked me out, but Ryan let Lincoln hold Sawyer yesterday. It went better than I thought it would but I definitely still don’t trust Lincoln around him.

It may have been a little scary to let Lincoln hold Sawyer, but what a cute photo-op it made! Big hugs to new walker Lincoln!

Wohoo for Lincoln! It's so fun for them to watch the videos when they get older. Ethan still gets a kick out of his first walking video.

And yay for Moms! It'll be nice to have both Ben's Mom here prior to the baby and then my Mom when she arrives. Lucky for them I'm so dang antsy that I did most of the projects for the nursery prior to them coming. Can't wait to see what the nursery looks like. A red dresser sounds mighty cute!

Yay for Lincoln! He's totally got it. So true... he probably stepped up his game (no pun intended) to compete for your attention.

Your kitchen is SO LONG!

I used to get nervous about Anderson falling too, but remember, they have to fall. It's okay! It's part of learning. Plus their butts are padded so it's no big deal if they fall (except apparently Lincoln thinks it is...)

I love the part where you say, "how many videos did we take of Lincoln when he did nothing?" We have that discussion about pics/vids all the time. Cameras gravitate towards the toddlers.

That's awesome Mom is doing Sawyer's nursery. I want more deets on that.

I feel like our v-chat today was just uber stressful. I'm excited to meet each other's babies in person when we're not yelling over a computer to each other. :)

I think Lincoln passed up walking and is already running. I love the way he gets so pleased with himself.

Wow - Wendy always leaves REALLY long comments. I love them though. Good job Lincoln. I knew he'd get it. I like how he walks in touchdown position. He'll grow up to be a football ref for sure. Luvs!
