Fanilow of Manilow

So last November when Wendy suggested we by tickets for the Barry Manilow concert that was coming to DC in February, I kind of thought she was nuts. Turns out she was brilliant. I forgot how much I love the Man and all of his cheesy songs! It was fantastic! I mean, whats not to love about this guy?

How do I have such an up close pic? We must have spent a fortune for such good seats! Nope. Ten dollars! When the ticket lady scanned our tickets at the entrance, they beeped, and she told us we had a gift down the hall. We went down the hall where another ticket lady told us our orignial seats were blocked and we were upgraded to the third row!!! Let me tell you, there are some serious die-hard Fanilows out and you'll find them on the third row of his concerts!

I don't care what anyone says about him, they guy has got it goin' on! He's freakin' 65 years old and still filling stadiums. There's something to be said for logevity! I can't imagine too many of todays' pop starts goin' strong 40 years from now. This was actually the second time Wendy and I have seen Barry.... the first time I was 9! Three cheers for Barry! Afterall, he is the man who writes the songs that make the whole world sing!
